Save this date “December 4, 2010”. This December 20, 2010 will mark the 90th anniversary of Alpha Alpha Chapter at the University of Cincinnati. The esteemed brothers of Alpha Alpha Chapter, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. are honored to invite you to Cincinnati on December 4th as we celebrate our fraternity’s founders and 90 years of existence on the campus of the University of Cincinnati. So mark your calendars and make plans to join us.
Ever mindful of our place in the fraternity’s rich tradition held dear by those who came before us, we will celebrate our 90th anniversary by honoring the memory of Linda Bates-Parker by supporting the Linda Bates-Parker Scholarship Fund. Ms. Parker was a pillar of the Cincinnati\UC community and an American champion of diversity and education at the University of Cincinnati. Supporting the LBP Scholarship Fund will embody our status as grand civic organization leaders, promoters of academic excellence, and advocates for our University.
It’s our goal to raise $20,000 through donations from every Alpha Brother that crossed the burning sands at Alpha Alpha Chapter. Two hundred plus brothers have been initiated into Alpha Alpha Chapter since 1960. We are asking ever brother to support this lofty goal by making a tax deductable donation of at least $90 each as we celebration our 90 years of existence.
We are asking a minimum of $1 to represent each anniversary year of the chapter as we make this monetary gift to the University through the LBP Scholarship Fund. The scholarships created through this fund will provide educational opportunities for qualifying African American students. Educational scholarships are gifts that keep giving and will be an appropriate endeavor as we celebrate our existence on UC’s campus.
You may start donating at any time however we are asking you to please have your donation paid by October 21, 2010.

We host our chapter business meetings every 2nd Monday of the month at Woodward High School (7001 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH 45237) and our social meetings are every 4th Monday of the month at the Sentinel Police Station (1889 Central Parkway, Cincinnati, OH 45214).
